Innova Pro Boss (World Record)
The Boss is a fast stable driver that can handle full power throws and moderate headwinds.
The Boss is a fast stable driver that can handle full power throws and moderate headwinds. Advanced players and sidearm throwers will appreciate the dependable stability. The Boss has a slight high speed turn to help maximize distance with a predictable fade. Simon Lizotte used a 157 gram Blizzard Champion Boss to set the World Record (863.5 feet) for the longest throw in October 2014. The Champion Boss flight numbers have been updated (13/5/0/3) to better reflect the more stable flight.
Pro plastic is manufactured using a special blend of plastics designed to provide unique qualities for each model. These quality discs offer increased durability over the DX plastic and provide an enhanced grip when compared to the Champion plastic. Pro discs provide additional glide when compared to all other disc lines and are more affordable than Innova's premium Champion or Star Line discs.
Note: These discs feature the World Record hotstamp, noting the 1108ft distance throw by David Wiggins in 2016. Previous stock runs of all versions of the Boss did not have this hotstamp. There is no difference in the mold or anything else that would make these discs fly differently, it's simply different artwork.
