Discmania C-Line Color Glow PD (Avery Jenkins - Dark Maul 2)
The PD is a fast and stable Power Driver, which is very resistant to the wind.
The Discmania PD will forever be an iconic disc for Discmania. When first released it quickly made waves and there are some very memorable runs throughout the years. The 2020 Signature Series begins with the Avery Jenkins Color Glow C-Line PD Dark Maul II. This run of PD not only stands out as one of the great PDs, it is even better than the first edition of the Dark Maul.
FLIGHT AND FEEL OF THE DARK MAUL II
When it comes to the PD, disc golfers are looking for a driver that can hold up to power and provide a strong fade at the end of the flight. That flight is exactly what you can expect from the Dark Maul II. The Dark Maul II came out much flatter than the initial run, but still has a similar feel to it. If you’ve been looking for those flat PDs, the Dark Maul II will scratch that itch.
When thrown at full power, the Dark Maul II will be very torque resistant. You can expect little to no turn with this disc. As the flight continues, you’ll get a very punchy fade that really snaps hard on you. Don’t sleep on the Dark Maul II. Power it up and let it fly. It has all the bite to battle through the flight. For those who love the first Dark Maul, these will be a little more overstable with a very similar feel.
The PD is a fast and stable Power Driver, which is very resistant to the wind. The PD has a good glide and it’s useful for sidearms, stable power shots, and long flex shots for experienced players. This disc offers longer and straighter shots with a reliable low speed fade. If you’re hesitant to try the Power Driver, ask anyone who’s tried it – this disc is a true crowd favourite.
C-Line plastic is produced with a hi-tech material that provides outstanding performance and durability. C-Line discs are distinguished by a clear or pearlescent plastic. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic. Originally designed for professional players, C-Line discs are usually more stable than the same model in D-Line, P-Line, S-Line or G-Line.
