Detailed Description
The IsoThrow is everyting the SnapBand wanted to be and more! Isometric conditioning is a core component of fitness for disc golf. You must have a strong arm. You must have a quick & stable wrist. You must have a strong back and obliques. And you must have control. Strength training with the IsoThrow can improve your strength, agility, form, and accuracy.

Let's talk about strength. For a basic approach and backhand drive you use your legs, back and core, full arm, shoulder & chest, wrist, and fingers. Long and accurate drives are acheived with: 1)correct timing, 2)proper spin speed, 3)strong and quick body twist, and 4) a stable release.

Strength training with the IsoThrow utilizes all of the muscles for driving. Just as you would follow an exercise plan to gain muscle or cut out fat, you should do the same to improve your disc golf game. You strength train to condition your muscles to perform at a certain level. While you sleep those muscles are re-built longer and stronger and the result is increased speed and power needed to "bomb" a drive or control an accurate putt.

Why not just lift weights to build muscle strength? Strength training in any form will improve your game. However, while weight lifting will make you stronger, it won't increase your quickness. This is because lifting weights is a "short muscle" type of exercise, also known as isotonic. It is for bulk, not length. Length is what you want for increased speed and quickness. The design of IsoThrow allows you to turn almost any disc golf throw into an isometric (length) exercise. You repeat the motion as if you are actually throwing the disc and hold the extension to teach the muscle where the throw begins, flows, and ends. Repetition creates muscle memory so when you are at the course you are more consistent. Due to the force of the resistance band when you pull on your disc, you naturally perfect your grip on the disc. Your hand strength increases and the form of your wrist upon release of your disc is perfected - thus creating a more accurate flight pattern. PLUS - since the IsoThrow is a harness system, you can practice with a variety of discs, improving your grip on all the different rims you play with.

The IsoStrap can be attached to any stationary object like a pole, fence, or small diameter tree. The IsoStrap also has a door jamb plug so you can improve your game indoors - great for winter climate locations or a rainy day! You will find the ways that work best for you after just a short time using the IsoThrow.

Taking the IsoThrow with you to the course is beneficial for stretching and keeping your muscles warm while you wait for your turn to tee off. You can also practice your full approach by attaching the IsoStrap around your throwing arm and wrapping the bands around your back (see video) - this is a great way to safely practice a throw without risking injury as many experience when doing a "dry throw".
