The Players Cup 2008 - An Elite Disc Golf Championship

Note: The Players Cup has a new qualifying/registration system in place for 2008. Last years attendees, Pro Men with a 1000+ Player Rating and Pro Women with a 900+ Player Rating may register at this time. Last years attendess will have a spot reserved for them until August 8th. In addition, there are 16 spots reserved for women players until September 1st. Starting August 8th, any Pro Men with a 975+ player rating and any Pro Women with a 875+ Player Rating may register. On September 1st, any Pro Men with a 955+ Player Rating and any Pro Women are eligible to sign up. Also eligible will be all Pro Master Men, Pro Grand Master Men, Pro Sr. Grand Master and Pro Legend Men may register. On November 1st, any men with a 915+ Player rating can register.
~Entry Fee is $150. All online registrations are subject to a $5 online processing fee.
~Your Social Security Number will be transmitted securely (the web address in your browser will change to "https://" at Checkout instead of the traditional "http://" - the added "s" means that it is a secure connection). It is required for tax purposes on any potential winnings.
~The Ace/Eagle Fund for The Players Cup will be awarded to any player(s) hitting an ace or "hole in one" during tournament play. In the event that no aces are hit during the event, the pool will then be awarded to the player(s) with the most Eagles (2 strokes below par) recorded during tournament play.
~Among the many activities during the tournament week is The Players Cup Mini Disc Golf Championship sponsored by DGA. With a minimum $500 purse, fierce competition is expected among the participants. Players will have the opportunity to qualify on Wednesday and Thursday and compete for the cash on Friday and Saturday. On Friday and Saturday, all players will be able to complete their required rounds of play at any point during the day. The dates and times for this event are subject to change.
~As with Players Cup tradition, registrants have the luxury of selecting their tee time for the 1st Round of Play on Friday, November 16th. There are 16 spots reserved for women players and women must choose from one of (4) "women only" tee times which are 8am, 10am, 12 Noon and 2pm.

~After you checkout and pay for the event you will receive a confirmation e-mail (if you have provided a valid e-mail address!) of your registration/order. Within 24-72 hours your name will appear in the "Confirmed Players List & Tee Times" section here and on The Players Cup website.
