The Labor Day Luau Weekend
In addition to our weekend disc golf tournament on Saturday, we will be offering a myriad of other disc sports over the course of the weekend. Here is a breakdown and explanation of all the different events:
~Saturday Night: After the (2) round Disc Golf tournament during the day, we will be playing Mini Night Golf at the Beef O' Bradys on Saturday night. A L.E.D. mini is included with all entries and the mini baskets will be lit up.
~Sunday: Discraft 1-Disc Ace Race on Sunday morning, September 6th at Floral Park. The Ace Race format is simple: players shoot from extra short tees and try to score "points" by hitting a hole-in-one (ace) or hitting the basket. Additional points are awarded to the player who is closest to the pin. The player with the most points after (2) rounds of play wins. The $25 entry fee scores you a killer package valued at $50 and includes (2) prototype Discraft golf discs, a hat, a supercolor mini and a chance to win the first place prize package valued at nearly $300!
When the Ace Race is finished, we will launch our famous $300 Labor Day Skins Challenge in which we will square off some of the tournaments top finishing pros in a 9-Hole skins competition format. The course will be set up "gorilla" style where we combine holes to make a long, "super" hole and let the pros strut they're stuff and grip it and rip it!
After the Skins Match, we will be launching our 2010 Kan Jam Florida State Championships tournament! Kan Jam has caught on like wild fire in recent months on the Fabulous Florida Tour circuit between and after events and also in some areas of the state as a regular weekly activity.
On Sunday night, all participants are invited to attend the Luau Pool Party at the home of Mike & Cindy Barnett. This annual get together will offer kegged beer, finger food and a charity raffle. After dinner, we'll have poolside Mini Golf, darts and music! Don't forget your bathing suit!
